Senior full-stack engineer, close to the real work.

I’m a senior full-stack engineer with more than twelve years of experience helping teams turn real business problems into maintainable software for fintech, healthcare, retail, banking, telecom, and government clients across the US and Latin America.

My work has always crossed the stack: React and Angular interfaces, TypeScript and Node.js services, Java and Spring backends, third-party integrations, cloud infrastructure, testing, and CI/CD. I’ve led monolith-to-microservices migrations and owned features end to end from requirements and architecture through automated testing, deployment, and release.

In recent work, I built a retail bank’s client onboarding system and staff back office, integrating identity verification, document management, maps, SFTP ingestion, and automated email delivery while adding Cypress coverage for every onboarding scenario.

I’m based in Montevideo, work directly with US product and engineering teams, and speak Spanish natively and English at a professional working level.

I write here mostly to think clearly. If a problem took me two days to figure out, the post is my attempt to make it take you twenty minutes.
